I revel upon the past to draft my memoirs and strongly feel that I have constantly witnessed a lot of miracles in life! It is also true that the miracles have happened due to my belief in them. However the journey of each and every accomplishment of my goals has been very testing and tough, like a close match which is fought with a lot of grit, passion and hard work. It has been a thrilling journey as it has a mixture of hope, sweat, tears, patience, resentment, endurance and finally victory!.

As I look back in life, from my early childhood days to now and count my miracles – accomplishments in terms of records, no of recognitions & success in achieving goals, I realise and wonder that Once-in-a-lifetime success is purely a coincidence! But how can it be coincidental to achieve the goals and targets you love every time this consistently?

Someone may think this is all very mystical.

But as I reflect on the reason behind this memoir, I realize some of the impulses and desperation within me. It often occurs to me that I am not satisfied with the work I have done. So I constantly challenge myself, and try to improvise and evolve.

If we take a look at those dynamic tendencies, change is thriving inside me. Thus motivating me to constantly do new things. In this regard, I have made one thing very clear to myself that my hunger for constant acceptance or change will be totally non-materialistic!    

Yes, my passion or inspiration has never been driven by dreams of living a certain lifestyle or owning a certain number of properties. Of course I have achieved a lot in life in that perspective but than I consider that as a byproduct of my work. This may sound idealistic, but in this memoir, confession becomes my religion. And that is why I will honestly admit that the materialism or luxury that I have got is only a byproduct of my work!. I have never set the goals of my life in order to achieve all that.

In the midst of all these thoughts, I could not help but fondly remember the memories where it all began for me. As I grew up my Daddy used to share inspirational stories of extraordinary world leaders and how only a few select people who choose not to be ordinary are remembered in history!

Daddy’s golden words will always be etched in my heart and mind forever, he used to say

“If you can Believe in yourself, even if no one else does, you have the self-confidence to Succeed at anything you set your mind to. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You got a dream, you got to protect it. You want something, just go and get it!”

Not living an ordinary life leads you to accept constant changes and face the challenges for change.

However, I have to admit that my decisions to accept new challenges or sometimes to walk in the face of storms has contributed a lot to the development of my personality. As a businessman, I have seen a lot of benefits in this too. Because challenges in fact develop your skills. It removes your fear. It boosts your patience and converts your anger into creation. Is that a small advantage? Ultimately this advantage is the master formula of our success. And what is success? I believe success is the achievement where your life gets ultimate satisfaction, inner joy and ultimate peace!

There was a time when people had a doubt if Viral Desai could achieve anything. There were times when questions arose if a small medium enterprise business could get success. I have accepted all these challenges in my life, gradually transforming and conquering my weakness to trophies and recognitions of my life.

Looking back, I realize that all my awards and certificates during my school and college years , the top most state, national and international awards, recognition and trophies in my entrepreneurial journey so far or transforming Udhna as the first green railway station of India are few among other noteworthy results of the challenges that I accepted. Satisfaction and joy is probably the ultimate goal of my life. Why? Because I like to move towards extraordinary life.

Anyway, I have to write separate chapters about the awards I have received. But first I want to talk about my passion during the early years of my life. But it will all happen in stages. If I say everything in unison, you will get bored!
